Simone Moro

Simone Moro is an Italian alpinist and helicopter pilot, renowned for his groundbreaking winter ascents of four 8,000-meter peaks. His achievements include being the first to complete winter ascents on Mount Makalu, Mount Gasherbrum II, Mount Shishapangma, and Mount Lhotse. Alongside his mountaineering feats, Simone is a skilled helicopter pilot involved in high-altitude rescues. He is also an author and motivational speaker. At the Summiteers Summit 2025, Simone will share his experiences in extreme climbing and rescue operations, inspiring others to push their limits and embrace challenges.
