Alina Pekova is a pioneering Russian mountaineer known for summiting all 14 eight-thousanders within 18 months of beginning high-altitude climbing in 2017 becoming the first Russian to achieve this. In 2023, she set a national record by scaling 11 peaks in six months and summited Everest and Lhotse back-to-back on the same day. Her mountaineering pursuits span the globe, including Antarctica’s Vinson Massif as part of the Seven Summits program.
