Everest Alliance Nepal is a dedicated initiative founded by a passionate tourism entrepreneur alongside a committed team of mountain experts including legendary Icefall Doctors, mountain social workers, devoted climbers, and individuals whose hearts belong to the Himalayas.
United by a shared love for the mountains and deep concern for their future, this alliance was established with a powerful mission to protect the crying Himalayas. As the effects of climate change, pollution, and unsustainable tourism practices continue to threaten our sacred peaks, Everest Alliance Nepal is working at the grassroots level to bring positive change.
Through awareness campaigns targeted at field staff such as guides, Sherpa's, and porters, the alliance is fostering a culture of environmental responsibility. Regular cleaning campaigns, "No Plastic in the Mountains" initiatives, and sustainable tourism training programs are at the heart of our efforts.
Our goal is to create a cleaner, safer, and more sustainable future for the Himalayas; preserving their beauty not only for climbers and trekkers, but for generations to come.
