Environmental Cleanup Campaign 2026

The Himalaya Cleanup Campaign 2026 is a global sustainability and mountain conservation initiative organized by Everest Alliance Nepal at Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) under the theme “Clean Trails, Sustainable Himalayas.” The campaign is designed to protect Nepal’s iconic Himalayan trekking routes from the growing environmental pressure caused by increasing tourism, plastic waste, unmanaged litter, packaging materials, abandoned trekking items, trail degradation, and limited waste-management infrastructure in remote mountain regions.
